Dark Corner Distillery is a micro distillery located on Main Street in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Our building was constructed in 1925 and is part of what was then considered the North Block. Originally it was home to a local radio station and O’Neal Williams Sporting Goods. The interior mo
tif we chose represents the look and feel of upcountry South Carolina and more importantly the Dark Corner. Bluegrass is always being played in the background as this was the music of our ancestors.
Don’t expect to walk in and see a behemoth German-made tower of copper. Our pot still and distillation system were designed by the founders of the distillery and are clearly visible for all to see. The 80 gallon copper pot still was designed to favor quality and taste over quantity.
Step back in time and take in the ever so important history and culture of the DARK CORNER as we’ve displayed many 17th ad 18th century antiques, local mountain crafts and upcountry artwork. Distillery promotional items and Moonshine-infused food pantry goods are for sale and can be purchased in our retail storefront.
